Biography

Warren Brown was a starter for the Bulldogs in 2011. He had 59 tackles (33 solo) in 11 games. Brown notched 10 in a victory at Catawba. He had eight tackles each in victories over UNC Pembroke and Brevard. Brown collected two pass interceptions and blocked one kick. In 2010, Brown saw action in 12 of 12 games as a first-year Bulldog. The Eastern Kentucky University transfer had 11 tackles, including a 2010 season-high three stops in Wingate’s home victory over Tusculum. Brown had one tackle each in NCAA play-off action against Morehouse and Albany State. Brown played his prep ball at Miami’s Christopher Columbus High for head coach Chris Merritt.
