Biography

Josh Patch did not play in 2011, utilizing a redshirt season. In 2010, Patch recorded 30 total tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss for the SAC champions. Patch had a career-high six stops in a huge SAC victory at Carson-Newman. In 2009, he posted five tackles. Patch had three stops against Carson-Newman. Patch had one tackle each against North Greenville, Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba. In 2008, Patch played in six contests as a true freshman. He recorded three tackles in a road victory at Brevard. 

At East Rowan High School, Patch was a letter winner for the football, wrestling and track teams. In football, he led the team in pancake blocks, knockdowns and tackles as a senior. Patch was the Lineman of the Year for the Mustangs. He was All-County in football as a senior. Patch earned All-County and All-Conference laurels in track and wrestling as a junior. He was fifth in the state in wrestling. ERHS earned titles in football and track during Patch’s illustrious career. He is the son of Craig and Theresa Patch.
