Austin Anthony was named to the pre-season All-SAC team in 2013. He punted the football 41 times for a total of 1569 yards in 2012, good for a 38.3 average for each punt.  His long for the year was 60 yards (Albany State, Sept. 8). He had punts of 50+ yards twice, 60 yards versus ASU and 51 yards at Carson Newman (Sept. 27). Anthony punted the ball inside the opponents’ 20-yard line seven times on the year. In the classroom, he was Capital One Academic All-Super Region 2 team and SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2012.
 
He booted 54 punts for 2043 yards (37.8 yards per punt) in 2011. Anthony’s long punt of the season was a 54-yarder in his 2011 debut against Valdosta State. He hit three punts for a season-best 44.0 yard average against North Greenville. Anthony had 15 punts inside the 20, seven fair catches, six 50-yard punts and three touchbacks. Anthony did not play in 2010, utilizing a redshirt season.
 
Anthony played his prep football at Greensboro Page, where he earned an all-conference selection during his senior year. Austin Anthony is a three-time SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student-athlete. He is the son of Eric and Christiana Anthony.
