2014: Steven Jacobs is a pre-season All-South Atlantic Conference selection…
 
2013: Led the Wingate team in tackles for loss (12 for 50 yards) and quarterback sacks (seven for 38 yards)…Second on the Bulldog charts with six quarterback hurries…Had 11 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble in a 43-24 home victory over Brevard…Completed the 2013 campaign with 58 tackles (26 solo, 32 assists)…Total was fifth on the Wingate team…Had eight tackles against North Greenville and six each against Tusculum and Carson-Newman…Posted five tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss in a wild come-from-behind victory at Catawba...
 
2012: Played in nine games…Recorded five tackles with one tackle for loss…Posted two tackles in a victory over Catawba…

Personal: Jacobs was a two-time all conference performer for head coach Mark Heil at Purnell Swett. As a senior, he was elected first team All-County and second team All-Region. Jacobs was the team’s defensive MVP following his senior campaign. He was also a three-year letterman in both wrestling and track. Former NFL linebacker and Wingate All-American Kenwin Cummings attended Purnell Swett. Steven is the son of Steven and Espadonsa Jacobs.
