2014: Nortavius Otis was tied for fourth on the Wingate charts with his 65 tackles…Served primarily as a nickel back in 2014; the WU coaches look for him to play an expanded role in 2015…Posted 14 tackles against number six Lenoir-Rhyne and 10 stops each in road contests at Newberry and North Greenville….Recorded an interception in a road victory at Brevard…Notched 5.5 tackles for loss during the 2014 campaign…

2013: Saw time in six games, recording 25 tackles (nine solo, 16 assists)…Posted a career-high nine tackles (two solo, seven assists) against North Greenville…Registered five tackles each in back-to-back victories over Brevard and Tusculum…the Otis statistical ledger included two tackles for loss, three pass break-ups and one blocked kick…

2012: Split time at cornerback, playing in 10 games for the Bulldogs...Recorded 18 tackles on the year (10 solo)...Saved his best game for last, racking up five tackles (four solo) and two pass break-ups in a SAC victory over Tusculum...Shared a tackle for loss at Lenoir-Rhyne...
 
Personal: As a senior, Nortavius Otis was a team captain for head coach Greg Hill and the Ashbrook Green Wave. A 2011 Shrine Bowl participant, Otis was Co-Defensive Player of the Year in the Big South Conference. Ashbrook’s team defensive MVP, he was the All-Gazette Player of the Year following his senior season. In his final two years, he led Ashbrook in tackles en route to back-to-back all-conference selections. His guardians are Eric and Africa Otis.
