2013: Saw time in 10 of 10 games for the Bulldogs…Six tackles with a season-high two stops against Newberry…One tackle each against Lenoir-Rhyne, Brevard, North Greenville and Mars Hill…Shared a tackle for loss against the NGU Crusaders…
 
Personal: Rawls joined the Wingate family as a transfer from Fond Du Lac College, where he earned all-conference honors as a defensive tackle for the Thunder and head coach Keith Turner. Fond Du Lac won the conference title. At Redford Union, Rawls was a member of the football, basketball and track teams. Redford Union won a conference football championship during his tenure. In track and field, Rawls was first team all-conference in the shot put. He set the school record in the same event. DeMarcus is the son of Jarvis Byrd, Sr. and Tomena Byrd.
