2013: Saw action in 10 of 10 games for Bulldogs…Seven tackles (two solo, five assists) on season…Three tackles versus Lenoir-Rhyne…Two tackles against Mars Hill…One tackle each versus UNC Pembroke and North Greenville…
 
Personal: Modlin joined the Wingate family as a transfer from Hudson Valley Community College, where he earned Dean’s List honors three semesters in a row. As a sophomore, he had 30 tackles and five sacks for HVCC. He was named to the All-Northeast Conference team. At Gar-Field High School, Modlin played football for head coach Joe Mangano. He was an all-district team member and a team captain during his G-FHS career. Modlin compiled 70 career pancake blocks for the Indians. Gar-Field advanced to the state semi-finals his junior year. Taylor is the son of Jose and Edie Zepeda.
