2014: Cody Cothren rushed two times for nine yards in a SAC road victory at Brevard…Had two special team tackles in the triumph over the BC Tornados…Recorded five tackles total as a redshirt junior, with one stop each against Catawba, Tusculum and Mars Hill…

2013: Participated in 10 of 10 games, seeing much time on special teams…Rushed four times for 40 yards in Brevard victory…Caught three passes for 64 yards…Snagged one reception for 54 yards at Mars Hill…Two catches for 10 yards versus North Greenville…Recorded 11 special teams’ tackles…Two stops each against Catawba, Brevard and Mars Hill…Had at least one tackles in eight of 10 contests…

Personal: Cody Cothren was a member of the football, wrestling and track teams at Hickory Ridge. A senior football captain, Cothren was named to the all-conference team the same year. He led the team in rushing yards per game his final campaign. In track, Cothren was a state qualifier. He was an honor roll student at HRHS. Cody is the son of Larry and Sandra Cothren.
