2019: Davion Washington earned D2CCA All-Region honors for the second straight season…One of two defensive captains, the first team All-SAC performer started all 12 games for the Bulldogs, leading the team with 14 pass break-ups while adding a pair of interceptions…Registered 28 tackles on the season…Grabbed a big interception in the end zone in the victory over Carson-Newman, while also notching a pick at Tusculum…Posted three pass break-ups in the UVA-Wise victory, while piling up four pass break-ups against West Florida in the play-off contest…Washington and his 2019 senior teammates set a WU record with 36 career victories…
 
2018: Washington made the D2CCA All-Region second team and grabbed a first team All-SAC honor as well…Registered 18 pass break-ups and three interceptions on the season, adding 50 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss to go along with a forced fumble and fumble recovery…Picked a perfect time for his first interception of the year with a takeaway at West Georgia as the Bulldogs won their opening round NCAA playoff game…Followed the UWG pick with two interceptions against Lenoir-Rhyne in the region semifinals…
 
2017: Washington collected 31 tackles (11 solo, 20 assists) during Wingate’s SAC championship season…Recorded a season-high seven stops in the NCAA playoff game versus West Florida…Posted three tackles and an interception in Wingate’s home win over Limestone…Four tackles each in back-to-back SAC victories over Mars Hill and Newberry…Added three pass break-ups and one quarterback hurry to his 2017 statistics ledger…

2016: Washington appeared in 11 of 11 games for the Bulldogs…Recorded 10 total tackles (three solo, seven assists)…Posted two solo tackles against North Greenville…Had a solo tackle and an assist against Mars Hill…Credited with three pass break-ups on the season…

Personal: Davion Washington played for head coach Julius Prince at Southside High. Washington was a three-year starter on defense for the Tigers, completing his SHS career with 173 tackles, 47 pass break-ups and 22 interceptions. As a senior, he was a two-way player who amassed 59 receptions for 881 yards and 13 touchdowns on offense. Washington was named to the all-region team following his senior campaign. Davion is the son of Robert Barnes and Shayla Washington.
