2012: Started all 50 games during her junior year at Wingate…Tied for the team lead with .336 batting average…Led the team with 32 RBI and .418 on-base percentage…Finished second on the team with 48 hits, five homers, 10 doubles and .510 slugging percentage…Ranked third on the team with 73 total bases…Had a homer and three RBI against Coker…Went two-for-three with two runs scored at Mount Olive…Had a double, two RBI and a run scored in game one against UNC Pembroke, while driving in the game-winning run with two outs in the top of the seventh in game two…Had a double, two RBI and a run scored against Lock Haven…Had a homer and three RBI against Bloomsburg…Went two-for-three with a homer, two RBI and two runs scored in the win over SAC champion Lenoir-Rhyne…Had a homer and three RBI against Pfeiffer…Went two-for-four with a double, two RBI and a run scored against Tusculum…Had a double, homer, two RBI and two runs scored against Mars Hill.

2011: Started all 46 games in her sophomore season at Wingate…Hit .268 with two homers and 20 RBI…Finished third on the team with a .384 on-base percentage and fourth with a .370 slugging percentage…Finished fourth on the team in hits, RBI and total bases…Had five doubles on the season…Finished with 324 putouts in the field, along with 15 assists while committing only one error for a .997 fielding percentage…

2010: Brittany Loudermilt started all 50 games during her freshman season at Wingate, collecting 26 hits, 23 RBI and 14 runs scored. She drove in two runs and scored three times at Queens. Loudermilt had a homer and three RBI against Erskine. She also had a three-run homer against St. Andrews and at Lander. Loudermilt drove in a run in the win against Newberry. She went three-for-four with three RBI in the SAC Tournament win over Catawba.

Personal: Loudermilt played softball three seasons for head coach Monte Sherrill at national powerhouse Alexander Central High School (number one in N.C., number four in the nation). She was captain of the volleyball, basketball and softball teams her senior year. Loudermilt was All-Conference, All-District and All-State in softball. She played in the N.C. State games three years in a row. Loudermilt led the 2009 N.C. 4A state champions in home runs, RBI, slugging percentage (.586), batting average (.369) and fielding percentage (.979). She hit the game-winning home run in the state championship game. The ACHS Cougars have won the softball conference championship every year of the program’s existence. Loudermilt won the Tiffany Crouse Award, the sportsmanship award and the leadership (team-before-self) award her senior year. Brittany Loudermilt is the daughter of Marty and Robin Loudermilt. She is a Physical Education major.

Why Brittany chose Wingate: I chose because thats where God led me to go and because Wingate is a small campus and has a wonderful softball program.
