2010: Alschlager posted a team-best 13-3 record, playing primarily in the number three singles slot. She posted another team-high with a 7-1 SAC record; she was 8-1 overall in her last nine matches. In addition to fine singles play, Alschlager teamed up with 2010 graduate Hollyn Alberghini to post another team-best in doubles wins, going 14-4 overall and 6-2 in the SAC in the second doubles slot. Alschlager was named to the ITA Scholar-Athlete team.

2009: As a freshman, Alschlager compiled a 13-4 singles record (tied for best record on the team) with a 7-1 SAC ledger. She played 17 matches at the number five singles flight. In doubles, Alschlager was 9-8 overall with three different partners. She participated in eight matches at the number one doubles flight, posting a 4-4 record. Alschlager was 5-4 at the number two position.

HIGH SCHOOL: Samantha Alschlager played tennis for coaches Bruce Anderson and Libby Meiners at Porter Ridge High School. A summa cum laude PRHS graduate, Alschlager earned All-South Piedmont Conference and All-Union County honors in tennis during her career. An all-conference and all-county performer in soccer, Alschlager was a member of conference championship teams in both sports during her career. A team award winner in both tennis and soccer, Alschlager was an N.C. Scholar at Porter Ridge. Samantha Alschlager is the daughter of Mark and Jane Alschlager. Her dad played college football at Winona State (Minn.) University.
