Biography
2011: Goreski played a key leadership role as Wingate put together a 19-match winning streak and qualified for the NCAA play-offs for the first time in eight years.
2010: Goreski made an immediate impact on the Bulldogs’ fortunes as a first-year player. She was 14-5 overall in singles with a 9-3 mark at the number four position and a 5-2 ledger at the number five position. In South Atlantic Conference play, she was 7-1 overall. During crunch time, Goreski won eight of her final 10 matches. She was 5-4 in doubles with two different partners.
PERSONAL: Helen Goreski attended Thomas A. Blakelock High School in Oakville, Ontario. She is the daughter of Michael and Peggi Goreski.
