Biography
2008-09: Gladney Brown averaged 2.7 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game during her first Bulldog season. She saw time in all 28 contests, starting four (LMU, Brevard, at Mars Hill, Newberry). Wingate was 3-1 overall when Brown received the starting nod. She exploded for a career-high 19 points in a 94-72 home victory over Brevard (Feb. 14). Brown also pulled six rebounds in the same contest. She had a team-high eight rebounds at Tusculum (Jan. 24). Brown scored eight points in a wild 99-90 victory at Carson-Newman (Feb. 28).
High School: Gladney Brown was a two-time all-conference performer at Southwest Guilford High School, leading the team to a conference title her senior year. She led the conference in assists her final season while also serving as a team captain. Brown was born on February 3, 1990. Gladney Brown is the daughter of Debra Ann Robinson. She is a Biology major.
