2008-09: Stefani Shuey shot a team-best 57.1 percent (64-of-112) from the floor during her sophomore campaign. She hit double figures six times, notching a season-high 13 points (twice) in contests against Anderson (Dec. 17) and Carson-Newman (Jan. 14). Shuey posted a double-double in the 84-77 victory at Anderson, grabbing 10 rebounds to go with her 13 points. She had 11 points (on four-of-six shooting) in a 79-64 victory at Mars Hill (Feb. 18). Shuey’s 4.1 rebounds per game put her second on the Bulldog team charts. She averaged 6.0 points per game during her sophomore season.

2007-08: Shuey started 16 games for the Bulldogs in her freshman season, averaging 5.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. She scored in double figures six times, with three of those coming during postseason play. Shuey averaged 14 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in the SAC Tournament, while shooting 66 percent from the field. She had 15 points and 10 rebounds against Tusculum in the championship game. Shuey scored a career-high 17 points against Clayton State in the regional title game, while going eight-of-10 from the field. She had nine points and six rebounds in the Elite Eight game against Northern Kentucky (the eventual national champion).

High School: Stefani Shuey was the captain of the basketball and volleyball team at South Mecklenburg High School. She was also a member of the track & field team. She was the team MVP of the basketball team her senior year, she was also an all-conference selection that season. Shuey helped lead South Mecklenburg to the sectional, regional and state title her senior year, while leading the team with 14 points per game and nine rebounds per game. She was born on July 12, 1989. Stefani is the daughter of Mark and Karen Shuey. She is a Mathematics major.
