Biography
2008-09: Stephanie Whitenack averaged 3.4 points per game and 1.1 assists per game during her first season in the blue-and-gold. Whitenack notched a career-high 18 points (tops on the team charts) in a big 84-77 road win at Anderson (S.C.) on Dec. 17. She had 12 points in a wild 94-88 SAC victory at Brevard on Jan. 17. Whitenack saw action in all 28 games, making two starts (UNC Pembroke, at Lenoir-Rhyne). Her 14 three-point field goals made put her fifth on the Bulldog charts.
HIGH SCHOOL: Stephanie Whitenack was the co-captain of the Lakota West High School team while leading the Firebirds to a district and regional championship her senior year. She was a two-time honorable mention Cincinnati Enquirer all-star. She was a member of the Ohio Girls Basketball Top 64 Showcase all four years of her high school career. Her high school team was ranked fourth in the region and was ranked as one of the top 25 high school teams in the nation. Stephanie was born April 29, 1990. She is the daughter of Scott and Patricia Whitenack.
