Biography
2008-09: Rebecca Gerbert returns for her senior year as a sprint freestyler and butterflyer. Gerbert posted two best times at the 2009 BGMC meet. She was integral in relays all season and her top finishes include a second-place finish against SCAD in her 100 Butterfly and a win in her 100 Freestyle against Lenoir-Rhyne and King.
2007-08: Gerbert was an all-conference performer in her second year with the Bulldogs. She finished seventh in the 50 Freestyle against Davidson with a time of 26.38. Gerbert helped lead the 200 Freestyle Relay team to a first-place finish against Davidson.
2006-07: Gerbert waas an all-conference performer in the 200 and 400 free relay. The women’s 200 free relay team won the conference championship and set the school record.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rebecca Gerbert was a member of the swimming team and Honor Roll at Charles F. Brush High School. In addition, she was a Merit-Honor Award winner. In the pool, Gerbert was the team MVP in her sophomore and junior swimming seasons and a team captain during her senior year. She was an All-American in the 200 and 400 Freestyle relays. Rebecca is the daughter of Simon and Renée Gerbert.
