What is a Representative of Wingate University’s Athletics Interests?
A representative of Wingate University’s athletics interests is an individual, business or organization who is known (or who should have been known) by a member of the institution’s executive or athletics administration to:
• Have participated in or is a member of an agency or organization promoting the institution’s intercollegiate athletics program;
• Have made financial contributions to the athletics department or to an athletics booster organization (i.e. Bulldog Club) or that institution;
• Assisting or have been requested (by the athletics department staff) to assist in the recruitment of prospects;
• Assisting or to have assisted in providing benefits to enrolled student-athletes or their families;
• Have been involved otherwise in promoting the institution’s athletics program.
Once you have gained the status of a representative of athletics interest for Wingate University you will retain this status forever regardless of your affiliation with Wingate University in the future.
