2017: Alon Smith made eight appearances out of the Wingate bullpen during his junior season…Went 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA…Struck out five in 3 1/3 innings of work…Struck out two in 2/3 of an inning at Lenoir-Rhyne…Had a strikeout in 2/3 of an inning against UNC Pembroke.

2016: Smith made 12 appearances out of the bullpen during his first season at Wingate, posting a 12.27 ERA, striking out four in 7 1/3 innings…Struck out two in a scoreless inning of work against Shippensburg…Had back-to-back scoreless outings against LMU and Carson-Newman, allowing just one hit in 1 1/3 innings.
