2011: Chris Vazquez played in 54 games during his junior year, hitting .301 with four homers and 32 RBI. He finished fourth on the team with 32 RBI, 46 runs scored and a .411 on-base percentage. Vazquez drew a team-best 35 walks on the year, while also leading the team with five sacrifice flies and four sacrifices. Vazquez earned preseason first team All-SAC honors in 2012.

2010: Vazquez earned second team All-SAC honors in 2010, hitting .382 with seven homers and 42 RBI. He led the team with 18 doubles and 71 hits, while ranking second with 44 runs scored, 110 total bases and a .591 slugging percentage. Vazquez was third in on-base percentage. He had a team-best 23-game hitting streak, while also leading the team with 23 multi-hit games. Vazquez hit the go-ahead three-run double in the ninth in Wingate’s win at Lenoir-Rhyne. He blasted a grand slam to lead the ‘Dogs to a win the following day, driving in five runs in the game. He was three-for-four with a homer and four RBI against Tusculum. Vazquez went four-for-four against West Virginia State. He followed that by racking up 10 hits in the three-game series at Newberry, hitting a homer, two doubles, driving in five and scoring six to help the Bulldogs sweep the Wolves. Vazquez had four RBI and four runs scored against Lincoln Memorial. He had two homers, three RBI and three runs in the win at Barton. Vazquez was three-for-four with a homer and two RBI at UNC Pembroke.

2009: Vazquez was second on the team in batting average as a freshman at .363. He was third on the club in hits and walks while leading the team in sacrifice bunts. His on base percentage was .448. Vazquez started 45 games as freshman at shortstop in 2009. Christopher Vazquez is the son of Carlos and Teresa Vazquez.
