2017: Danny Dunning made 15 appearances out of the Wingate bullpen during his sophomore season, going 1-0 with a 7.97 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 20 1/3 innings pitched…Pitched twice against Columbus State, tossing a combined 2 1/3 shutout innings while allowing just one hit…Registered 1 1/3 shutout innings against Erskine, followed by a hitless inning in relief at USC Aiken.

2016: Dunning appeared in 14 games during his redshirt freshman season, making a pair of starts…Compiled a 5.06 ERA and 0-1 record, striking out 11 in 21 1/3 innings…Started his season with four scoreless outings, going 6 2/3 innings, allowing just four hits capped by three shutout innings against Carson-Newman…Had a string of five straight outings without surrendering an earned run against Newberry, UNCP, Tusculum, Winston-Salem State and Brevard, allowing three hits in 5 2/3 innings with three strikeouts.
