2014: Eric Serra earned second team All-SAC honors during his senior season at Wingate...Led the team with a .353 batting average, six triples, seven homers, 46 RBI, .610 slugging percentage and .419 on-base percentage...Also had a team-best 11 stolen bases...Led the SAC in triples, ranking fifth in RBI and total bases, seventh in slugging percentage, eighth in homers and 11th in batting average...Started his year with a triple, two RBI and three runs scored against Saint Augustine's...Had a double, triple and three RBI in game one against Coker, while capping the series with a triple, homer, three RBI and two runs...Had a three-hit game against Francis Marion, scoring twice...Had a triple and two RBI in game one of the Tusculum doubleheader...Had a double, homer, five RBI and three runs scored in the Anderson series...Registered three-hit games against Belmont Abbey and Winston-Salem State...In the three-game series against No. 16 UNCP, went seven-for-11 with two doubles, two homers, six RBI and three runs scored...Had a homer and three RBI in game one of the Carson-Newman series, while going three-for-six with a homer, four RBI and three runs scored against Lincoln Memorial...Had a double and two RBI in the SAC Tournament win against LMU, while going four-for-five with a homer and two RBI against Erskine.

Personal:Â Serra was a two-year team captain at Florida Christian High School. He earned All-Conference accolades his final two years, helping lead his team to a district championship. He led the team with 31 stolen bases as a junior and 41 stolen bases his senior year. Serra spent his last two years at Elon University. He started 19 games at Elon in 2011, appearing in 47 contests. Serra hit .221 with 16 runs scored, stealing seven bases. He started 30 games in 2012, compiling a double, two triples and seven RBI. He stole 11 bases and scored 18 runs.
