2017: Jimmy Doolittle made 10 appearances and one start during his junior season at Wingate, compiling a 1-2 record and 5.25 ERA…Had 13 strikeouts in 12 innings of work with opponents hitting .244 against him…Tossed a scoreless inning in relief at Catawba with a strikeout…Piled up six strikeouts in three innings against Erskine, allowing just one hit...Tossed one inning in relief to pick up the win against Tusculum.

2016: Doolittle did not play during the 2016 season, spending the year recovering from injury. 

2015: Doolittle made 16 appearances with 14 starts during the 2015 season, going 4-6 with a 4.26 ERA…Piled up a team-best 69 strikeouts in 69 2/3 innings, holding opponents to a .251 average…Had two complete games on the year…Got the win against Coker, striking out five in three innings…Struck out eight in seven innings against Brevard, allowing just one run in the win…Allowed a run on three hits in seven innings against Mars Hill, striking out four in the win…Took a perfect game into the eighth inning of the NCAA Tournament game against North Greenville, finishing with a complete game one-hit shutout in the 2-0 win, striking out eight to lead the Bulldogs to their first NCAA Tournament victory since 1995…Named to the All-NCAA Southeast Region Tournament Team. 

2014: Doolittle made three appearances including two starts for the Bulldogs before suffering a season-ending injury...Went 2-0 with a 2.57 ERA...Compiled 13 strikeouts in 14 innings of work, walking just three...Struck out four in three innings of work in collegiate debut against Saint Augustine's...Earned a win in first start at Belmont Abbey, allowing one earned run in five innings...Struck out five in six innings against Francis Marion, allowing two runs to earn the win.
