Biography

Personal: Matthew Lee played baseball for head coach Danny Hignight at Providence High School. The Providence Panthers are members of the Southwestern 4A Conference, traditionally one of the top leagues in the NCHSAA. Lee was a four-year varsity letterman and team co-captain. Lee is a Belk Scholarship recipient, Wingate’s top academic award. He has earned the Providence Athletic Achievement Award and numerous academic awards. Lee was a member of the German Honors Society. Matthew Lee is the son of Kevin and Sherry Lee.
