2017: Started the 2017 with three top five finished for the Bulldogs… opening the season with an 8K time of 27:08.5 at the Cick-Fil-A Invitational… Posted a time of 26:46.18 at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invite 8K for a fourth place finish… In the Bulldog Stampede 10K he finished fourth with a time of 33:40.33… Posted a time of 25:49.29 in the SAC Championship Meet 8K for a 13th place finish and earning second team All-SAC honors, taking almost a full minute off his season best 8K time… Placed 33rd in the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet 10K with a time of 33:31.7...

2016: Finished 14th in the SAC championship meet with an 8K time of 27:15.0 to earn a spot on the All-SAC second team…Earned bronze medal in Bulldog Stampede with his 8K time of 27:14.25…Started 8K portion of season with fourth place showing at 33rd Winthrop/adidas Invitational with his time of 26:41.8…Ran top 8K time of 26:03.4 at the Royals XC Challenge…Posted a 10K time of 32:14.1 in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional meet at Montevallo, shattering his previous personal-best clocking by six minutes…

2015: Top 8K race of season was a 27:08 on a big stage at the Disney Classic…Posted a 28:01 8K time at the South Atlantic Conference meet…Participated in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional race on his home course, recording a 10K time of 38:34…

Previous: Dalton Cox attended Lee County High School, where he was a four-sport varsity athlete competing in cross country, swimming, track and field and tennis. He was captain of his Cross Country team his junior and senior year under the direction of head coach Jacob Ashworth. At the Cape Fear Valley Conference track and field meet, Cox won two first-place medals (800 meters, 4x800 meter relay), while collecting two second- place finishes (mile, 3200 meters). He posted times of 2:04.2 (800 meters), 10:23.1 (3200 meters) and 4:38.8 (mile). Cox was a member of the National Honor Society at Lee County. Dalton is the son of Dr. L. Dee Austin-Cox and Mr. Danny Cox.
