Biography
2008: Derek Woelfel participated in six races as a sophomore in 2008. Woelfel ran a season-best 8K time of 33:55 at the Anderson Invitational.
2007: Woelfel ran a season-best 8K time of 33:08 at the Eye Opener Invitational in September. The freshman went on to compete in seven races throughout the course of the 2007 season.
High School: Derek Woelfel was a member of the cross country, track & field and basketball team at Catoctin High School. He was a second team cross country all-conference selection. He was also named to the all-county team. Derek is the son of John and Brenda Woelfel. He is majoring in Sports Management.
