2013: Debuted for Bulldogs at Eye Opener in South Carolina, claiming an 8K time of 28:42 (36th place)…Finished 8K races with top time of year, posting a 28:37 in the SAC championship meet (42nd place)…Ran a 30:16 8K at Greater Louisville Classic…Recorded a 10K time of 35:24 at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals to conclude first season…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…
High School: Jacob Troutman ran cross country and track at Pinecrest High. His cross country and track and field head coach was Michael Swofford. As a senior, Troutman ran a 4:37.82 1600 meters during the indoor track season. In the spring, he posted a 4:46.10 1600 meters during Pinecrest’s outdoor campaign. In the 3200 meters, his best indoor time was a 10:05.30 during his senior year. Troutman was a stalwart for the Patriot 4x800 relay team as well. Jacob is the son of Joel and Margaret Troutman.
