Biography
2011: Osburn ran a season-best 30:03 8K race at the Winthrop Invitational. One week later, he posted a 30:28 8K time at Wingate’s Bulldog Stampede. Osburn recorded a 30:53 8K time at the season-ending Food Lion SAC meet.
2010: Osburn competed in six meets for the Bulldogs as a freshman. His highest finish was 14th at the WU Pre-SAC Invitational.
Personal: Osburn is the president of the Wingate University ORAC club. He is also active in the University’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Osburn is an intramural supervisor and a member of the Sport Sciences Club. A Dean’s List student, Osburn enjoys anything to do with electronics.
High School: Kyle Osburn was a four-time Ohio Cardinal Conference selection in cross country while at Orrville High School. Orrville won three district titles in track and field during Osburn’s career. He was also a member of the school’s Ohio state championship qualifying 4x400 meter relay team in 2010. Kyle is the son of Jerry and Karen Osburn.
