2019: Andrew Strickland earned second team Academic All-America® honors and second team AFCA All-American laurels in his redshirt junior season…One of only three players in NCAA Division II football to earn the All-American double-double…Earned All-Region accolades from D2CCA and first team All-South Atlantic Conference as well…Started every game at right tackle…Played 693 snaps with a 91 percent overall grade…Posted 63 knockdowns while allowing only two QB sacks…Bulldogs ranked second in the SAC with 202.3 passing yards per game, while ranking third in the conference with 193.5 rushing yards…Team averaged 33.6 points per contest, the second-most in school history…Wingate won 10 games for the first time in program history…Received SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll distinction…

2017: Strickland played 738 snaps, grading out at 80 percent overall (combining mental, technical and effort grades) as Wingate won the SAC championship…Recorded 40 knockdowns while surrendering only four QB sacks…Strickland and the Bulldog O-Line helped running back Lawrence Pittman lead the SAC in rushing yards (1262) on the way to receiving the league’s Offensive Player of the Year award…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…

2016: Strickland appeared in seven games (two starts) for the Bulldogs…Posted game repetitions at guard and tackle…Played 286 snaps…Helped pave the way for the Bulldogs to have one of the best offenses in the league…WU finished second on the conference charts in rushing and passing offense… Also helped open holes to allow teammate Blake Hayes to reach the 1000-yard rushing plateau and teammate Lawrence Pittman to find the end zone for 15 rushing touchdowns (Hayes had 14 TDs)…
