Biography

Antonio Cotton gives the Bulldogs an experienced wide-out for the 2009 campaign. In eight games last season, Cotton had seven receptions for 124 yards (17.7 yards a catch). Against Lenoir-Rhyne, he had five catches for 89 yards and one 71-yard punt return for a touchdown. He was the SAC Special Teams Player of the Week following Wingate’s victory over LRU. Cotton played his high school football at Robinson for head coach Mike DePue. He also played baseball at Robinson. The son of Bobby Cotton and Lei Quash, Antonio Cotton transferred to Wingate from Butte College.
