Personal: Dixon was a two-time all-conference, all-county and all-area selection for head coach Lin Stadler at Rockingham County. Dixon rushed for 1,501 yards and 20 touchdowns his senior year, posting a 7.94 yards per carry average. He was the top rusher in his county. Austin is the son of Curtis and Enola Burgess.
