Personal: Billy Luzzi was a three-year varsity letterman for Eastern N.C. powerhouse J.H. Rose and head coach Dave Wojtecki. He finished his high school career as a senior team captain with over 150 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, seven forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. Luzzi was an all-county linebacker and an Offense/Defense All-American. A solid student, he was a member of both the J.H. Rose National and Spanish Honor Societies. Billy is the son of Bill and Christine Luzzi.
