Biography

Brandon Carpenter played in every 2011 game as a true freshman. His special team efforts helped placekicker Matthew Sierk earn pre-season All-SAC laurels. Carpenter had a tackle at Albany State. A three-sport standout at Lincolnton High, Carpenter was a member of the football, wrestling and track teams. His football coach was Scott Cloniger. As a senior, Carpenter led the Wolves (14-1 overall) to the Southern Piedmont Conference championship. He was a two-time all-conference pick in football, serving as a team captain his senior year. In wrestling, Carpenter was MVP and Athlete of the Year. He was a state wrestling qualifier and three times all-conference. In the classroom Carpenter earned membership in the LHS Beta Club. Brandon is the son of Michael and Donna Carpenter.
