Wingate University Athletics

Casey Cogdill and the Wingate O-Line helped the Bulldogs post huge offensive numbers in 2010. Wingate was second in the SAC in passing offense (332.7 yards per game) and total offense (443.3 yards per game) during the 2010 season. Cogdill saw time in four contests for the NCAA play-off participants. In 2009, Wingate finished second in the SAC in scoring offense (33.6 points per game) and passing offense (241.1 yards per game). Wingate averaged 395.3 total offense yards per game in 2009.

Cogdill earned letters in football, wrestling and track at Kings Mountain High School. An All-Gazette and All-Conference pick following his final football season, Cogdill served as a senior co-captain on the gridiron. In track, he was named to the all-conference team in the shot put as a junior. Cogdill placed third in the conference in his wrestling weight class during his junior season. Casey is the son of Richard and Angie Cogdill.
