AJ Hill is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Wingate University football program. He will help with the defensive line and contribute to defensive scouting. Hill will assist with Wingate’s recruiting efforts in Alabama and Georgia.
Hill spent the previous two years at Morgan High School in Clinton, Conn. as the defensive coordinator. The Huskies compiled a 16-5 overall record during his tenure with a state play-off appearance in 2015. Hill also worked with the linebackers and the running backs. He had responsibilities with special teams and opponent scout in addition to his game-day coaching.
Athletically, Hill earned three letters at Gettysburg College (Joe Reich’s alma mater) as a defensive end and punt team member. He was an All-State linebacker at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Conn. Hill received a bachelor’s of art in history at Gettysburg.
