Max Wolfe enters his fourth year as a member of the Athletic Administrative team for Wingate University in the 2019-20. Wolfe serves as the Assistant Director of Business Operations & Assistant Director of Compliance for the Wingate Athletic Department. Wolfe served one year as an assistant coach on Joe Reich’s staff during the 2015 campaign, before fulfilling other roles within the University during the first half of 2016. Wolfe also spent four seasons as a student assistant coach for the Bulldogs.
Prior to joining the Wingate family, Wolfe was a student assistant to athletic director Terry Radford at Hunter Huss High School. Wolfe was also a member of the 2011 3A State Basketball Championship team under head coach Ron Bray. He was selected to attend the prestigious Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas as a student athletic trainer in 2011.
Wolfe is a 2015 Wingate graduate (Criminal Justice) and earned his Masters Degree from Coker College in December of 2018. He is the son of Max and Tammy Wolfe of Gastonia, N.C. and will marry Becky Mordas next summer.
