Biography

Dean Thompson did not play in 2011, as he utilized a redshirt season. Thompson was a member of the football and wrestling teams at Clinton High, where he played football for Steve Mallard and Jeff Sawyer. A team captain as a senior, Thompson was named to the all-conference and all-county teams the same year. In wrestling, he earned the most dedicated award. Dean is the son of Presley and Loretta Thompson.
