2013: Utilized a redshirt season for the Bulldogs...

Personal: Doug Waddell, Jr. was a two-year starter on the offensive line for Leon High School and head coach Bill Ragans. As a senior captain, he graded out at 89 percent and averaged six pancake blocks per game. Waddell was named the 6A Division 3 Player of the Year. In addition, he was a starter in the Florida versus Georgia All-Star Border War Classic. Waddell was awarded the 2013 Bernard Miller Offensive Lineman of the Year Award. His parents are former Nebraska offensive lineman Douglas Waddell, Sr., Carolyn Waddell and Jennifer Gibson. He made the Leon Dean’s List every semester.
