2016: Heath Barringer utilized a redshirt season in 2016…

Personal: Heath Barringer was the team MVP as a senior for South Rowan and head coach Daniel Yow. He was a three-year captain for the Raiders. Barringer played four sports at South Rowan (football, basketball, baseball and track), serving as a basketball team captain his senior season. On the football gridiron, Barringer passed for four touchdowns and rushed for three scores his senior year. He received South Rowan football’s Team Above Self Award following his final campaign. Barringer was South Rowan’s senior class president and the SRHS National Technical Honor Society president. Heath is the son of Tim and Annette Barringer and the brother of Nicole Barringer. Heath’s sister Nicole was an All-American volleyball student-athlete at Averett University. She was her conference’s NCAA Woman of the Year nominee in 2015.
