Personal: Ja’Shawn Joyner was a two-year starter at quarterback for Reagan head coach
Josh McGee. In his final campaign, Joyner passed for over 1500 yards and 16 touchdowns, while rushing for another 987 yards and nine touchdowns. He earned many 2012 awards, including all-conference, all-county and Central Piedmont Conference Offensive Player of the Year. As a junior, he passed for over 1300 yards and 13 touchdowns along with 500-plus rushing yards and four touchdowns. Joyner was selected to both the all-conference and all-county teams as a junior.
