Biography

James Mezzanotte saw action in 10 games for the 2008 Bulldogs, helping the team match the school-record for victories in a season (eight). He is a vital cog in Wingate’s special team efforts. During the 2007 campaign, Mezzanotte utilized a redshirt season. He played his prep football for head coach Steve Filippone at Daniel Hand High School. The Tigers won Connecticut state championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Mezzanotte was voted Daniel Hand’s most improved player his senior year. James Mezzanotte is the son of Chris Mezzanotte and Michelle Carlisle.
