Biography

Joseph Pignataro provides the Bulldog defensive line with much leadership. Injuries have caused him to miss parts of the last two seasons; Pignataro is ready to finish his Wingate career on a high note. In 2008, he saw action in four contests. In a SAC win at Brevard, Pignataro had six tackles. At St. Francis Prep, Pignataro earned three letters each in football and track. His football coach was Vincent O’Connor. Pignataro served as a captain in both sports during his career. He earned the team Most Improved award in football and track (twice). His dad (Marino) played college football. Joseph is the son of Marino and Mary Pignataro.
