2015: Shelton was a starter as a first-year Bulldog, seeing time in all 11 games…Posted a total of 18 tackles (14 solo, 4 assists), four pass break-ups and two interceptions…Had a key interception to give the Bulldog offense the ball back in the closing minutes of the game as WU claimed a 17-0 SAC victory at Catawba…Season-best five tackles at Tusculum…Recorded an interception in road win at Shaw…Two pass break-ups in home triumph over Limestone…

Personal: Josh Shelton joined the Bulldog family as a transfer from Troy. At Mount Juliet, Shelton was first team all-state and all-region as a senior. His senior stat ledger included 65 tackles, one interception and an amazing 12 blocked kicks. Shelton earned letters in track while in high school. Josh is the son of John and Jenna Shelton. He has two sisters and two brothers.
