Biography

Jules Burkett saw action in 11 games for the Bulldogs in 2008. He is one of 22 seniors on the Wingate roster. At Irmo High School, Burkett was a football and track team member. His football coach was Bob Hanna. Burkett won the Coaches Award in football. During his career, Irmo won two lower state and regional championships in football. As a senior, Burkett was second on the team in receiving yards. He caught four TD passes his final season. His dad (J.C.) played football at Mars Hill. He is the son of J.C. and Cheryl Burkett.
