2015: Johnson was second on Wingate’s team list (to All-SAC linebacker Eric Mapoles) with his 81 totals tackles…45 solo stops were a team-best…2015 statistics: seven passes defended, six pass break-ups, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and one interception...Had a season (and career)-high 14 tackles at Tusculum…Posted 11 stops versus North Greenville…Recorded eight tackles each against Limestone and Newberry…

Personal:
Kameron Johnson played four years for head coach Adrian Jones at SDHS. The Spartans won the 2013 State Championship, which was the first in school history. Johnson started at safety as a junior and senior, earning all-conference honors in 2013. As a junior, Johnson had 84 tackles, nine forced fumbles, two pass break-ups and one interception. He finished his senior year with 128 tackles, seven pass break-ups and four interceptions. Johnson received the WRAL TV OT Extra Effort award as senior. Kameron is the son of Steffan Johnson and Erica Jones.
