2018: Johnson had 48 tackles in 12 games for the Bulldogs…Posted a season-high nine tackles against Florida Tech…Recorded seven tackles three times in victories over UNC Pembroke, Catawba and Newberry…Garnered two interceptions in wins over Mars Hill (52-yard return) and Limestone (33-yard return)…Forced a fumble versus Fayetteville State…Statistics ledger included 4.5 tackles for loss (minus 11 yards), 0.5 QB sacks (minus four yards) and five pass break-ups…
 
2017: Johnson’s 2017 stat ledger included 47 tackles, five tackles for loss (minus 13 yards), two interceptions (10 yards), two pass break-ups and one fumble recovery…Posted a season-best eight tackles in the first-ever Irwin Belk Stadium night game, a come-from-behind triumph over Carson-Newman…Notched seven stops with two tackles for loss at Mars Hill…Added an interception against the MHU Lions…Recorded a pick against the defending league champion Newberry Wolves the next week…Named pre-season All-SAC by the league’s media relations directors…

2016: Pre-season All-SAC…Team captain…Suffered season-ending injury during preseason.
 
2015: Johnson was second on Wingate’s team list (to All-SAC linebacker Eric Mapoles) with his 81 totals tackles…45 solo stops were a team-best…2015 statistics: seven passes defended, six pass break-ups, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and one interception...Had a season (and career)-high 14 tackles at Tusculum…Posted 11 stops versus North Greenville…Recorded eight tackles each against Limestone and Newberry… 

2014: Spent the season as a redshirt as a first-year Bulldog student-athlete…
 
Personal:
Kameron Johnson played four years for head coach Adrian Jones at SDHS. The Spartans won the 2013 State Championship, which was the first in school history. Johnson started at safety as a junior and senior, earning all-conference honors in 2013. As a junior, Johnson had 84 tackles, nine forced fumbles, two pass break-ups and one interception. He finished his senior year with 128 tackles, seven pass break-ups and four interceptions. Johnson received the WRAL TV OT Extra Effort award as senior. Kameron is the son of Steffan Johnson and Erica Jones.
