Biography

Mico Drew made a solid contribution to Wingate’s defensive fortunes in 2008. He had 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery. Drew had four stops in a road victory at North Greenville. He had two QB hurries at Newberry. Drew was a redshirt in 2007. He was a member of the football and track teams at Highland Springs. Following his senior season, Drew was named to the All-District, All-Region and All-Metro teams. A three-year team co-captain, he won the team’s Most Improved Award his junior season. Highland Springs won the district title in 2005. He is the son of Henry and Connie Drew.
