2019: Nijere Peoples received All-SAC honors for the second time in as many years…Ranked fourth in the league with 83.1 rushing yards per game and 10 touchdowns…Has posted 24 touchdowns in his first two seasons at Wingate…Recorded four 100-yard showings as a sophomore, piling up 149 yards in the UVA Wise victory…Ran a season-high 21 times for 120 yards in Fayetteville State win…Scored at least one touchdown in nine of his 10 games…Found the end zone twice in the Limestone triumph…Wingate won 10 games for the first time in school history…The ‘Dogs made their third consecutive trip to the NCAA playoffs…
