Biography

Raymond Grant returns for his senior season with the Bulldogs. In 2011, he posted four tackles. Grant had two stops in Wingate’s wild victory at UNC Pembroke. During the summer of 2012, Grant worked an internship with the Wingate University football staff. Grant was a letter winner as Wingate won its first SAC regular season championship and advanced to its first NCAA Division II play-off appearance in 2010. Prior to joining the Bulldog family, he spent four years in the Air Force. Grant was a star student-athlete at Burns High School. Grant played linebacker for the BHS Bulldogs and head coach Ron Greene. Grant won the program’s Top Dog Award, presented to the number one all-around performer in the weight room. Grant is the son of Raymond Grant, Jr. and Faye Cook.
