Biography

Rob Worthington redshirted during the 2009 season. He is ready to help Wingate’s high-octane offense defend its SAC title. As a student-athlete at Bishop Kenny High School, Worthington participated in football, weightlifting and track. The All-District selection started in 22 games at offensive tackle. Bishop Kenny’s most valuable lineman and team captain, Worthington led the team to a 7-3 record as a senior. An All-First Coast selection, he started at left tackle in the state all-star game. Mark Thorson was Worthington’s football and weightlifting coach at Bishop Kenny High School. Worthington is the son of Tom and Cass Worthington.
