Biography

Robert Kepley will have an opportunity to make an impact on Wingate’s defensive fortunes during the 2010 season. An excellent student, Kepley earned a spot in the Bulldog Academic top 10 for the 2009-10 academic year. He was also named to the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Kepley was a redshirt for the Bulldogs in 2008. At West Rowan High School, Kepley was All-Conference, All-County, co-captain and team MVP as a senior football student-athlete. The Falcons won the conference and the county championships each year during Kepley’s career (three titles each), compiling a 35-4 overall record in the process. As a senior, Kepley had 132 tackles. He was a National Honor Society member who was ranked in the top 20 of his class at WRHS. Kepley is the son of Jeff and Susan Kepley.
