Biography

Colby Reid spent the 2009 season as a redshirt for the Bulldogs. In the 2010 spring game, Reid was one of 12 receivers to catch a pass. Reid snagged two receptions for 26 yards in the annual event.

Reid was a member of the football, wrestling and baseball teams at A.L. Brown. His football coach was Ron Massey. As a senior, Reid had 21 receptions for 509 yards and seven touchdowns. Thanks to the efforts of Reid and his teammates, the Wonders advanced to the 3A state championship game in 2008. A two-year captain in both football and wrestling, Reid was A.L. Brown’s most improved football player following his senior season. He was an All-Conference choice (two years) in wrestling. Colby Reid is the son of Darrin Reid and Leigh Allen.
